Another overseas order! CIMC builds a four-star modular hotel in the Middle East

Recently, CIMC Modular Building (MBS), a subsidiary of CIMC, successfully signed a contract for the Earth Riyadh Hotel project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

This project, as CIMC's first modular building endeavor in the Middle East, marks a milestone in the recognition of China's green building technology by the international high-end market. It also represents a strong example of China's technology contributing to global sustainable development strategy, thereby injecting new impetus into the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative

The Earth Riyadh Hotel project covers a gross floor area of 11,000 square meters. It is a 3-story building composing of 104 modules and is planned as a local four-star chain hotel

CIMC Modular Building (MBS) will leveraging its world-class modular integration technology and extensive overseas construction experience to provide design, manufacturing, construction and installation support for the project

Compared with the traditional construction model, this approach can shorten the construction period by over 50%, reduce on-site construction waste by about 70% and cut carbon emissions by over 30%. This project will serve as a model project in Saudi Arabia for advancing the country’s “dual carbon” goal

The project is expected to be completed and handed over in 2026. It will effectively enhance the local tourism capacity and drive the sustainable upgrade of tourism infrastructure in Saudi Arabia
